Bamboo Structure

Species for the structure: Guadua angustifolia.

Diameter of the vertical rods: Ø10-11 cm and of the horizontal rods of the ceiling, the floor structure and the horizontal pieces for the walls: Ø8-10 cm.

The bamboo of the structure is cured for 5 days with Borax and Borax Acid.

After the reinforcement, the lower part of the rods (50 cm) with anchorage will be filled with mortar.

All structural joints between rods will be made with threaded rods (3/8”) with rings and nuts.

Minimum steel resistance of threaded rods, rings and nuts: 400 N/mm².

The bamboo of the structure will be finished with varnish.
